Katy has specialized training in pelvic health on top of more than ten years in orthopedic rehab. That mix means she understands how your pelvic floor works with the rest of your body.

Katy arrives with everything you'll need. Each session starts with your concerns and goals, then she looks at how you move, how you use your core, and your overall strength and mobility. She also considers things like stress, sleep and the demands on your day.
For pelvic health visits, Katy may recommend an internal pelvic floor assessment, but that's always your choice, and there's plenty she can assess and treat without one. From there, treatment may include hands-on techniques, mobility work, muscle retraining, strengthening, relaxation strategies, dry needling and exercises chosen for your body.

Good news! Maryland is a direct-access state. You do not need a prescription or referral to receive physical therapy care in Maryland. Some insurance companies do require a referral. If you plan to submit for reimbursement to your insurance company, you may need to check their policies on requiring prescription or referrals.
