-
Orthopedic physical therapy is open to everyone, for pain, injuries, mobility and getting back to the activities you love.

Katy arrives with everything you'll need. Each session starts with your concerns and goals, then she looks at how you move, how you use your core, and your overall strength and mobility. She also considers things like stress, sleep and the demands on your day.
For pelvic health visits, Katy may recommend an internal pelvic floor assessment, but that's always your choice, and there's plenty she can assess and treat without one. From there, treatment may include hands-on techniques, mobility work, muscle retraining, strengthening, relaxation strategies, dry needling and exercises chosen for your body.

Good news! Maryland is a direct-access state, so you don't need a prescription or referral to see a physical therapist. Some insurance companies do require one for reimbursement, so if you plan to submit your visits, it's worth checking your plan's policy.
